Nature's ways

This season too mango tree in our back yard was on full bloom.there was freshness and fragrance of its flowers(we call"baur"). air had a feeling of something store for new life. like previous year small bees gathered doing the job. there were winds , rain and pruning.yet after some time one could see small fruits in bunches. I saw them growing and other day noticed many missing perhaps children on way back stoned them.fruits were getting bigger. on my return i found some have been again plucked for pickle.iIfelt a feel of some strange loss. why can't all grow to be a ripe mango and more over stay with mother tree?Ultimately out of many in a bunch only one or two remained. some time back these too were taken to be eaten.was this the fate ? ,I questioned for us , the living beings?out of so many few survive after everything has played its tiny role.should life be seen in this context?from the window of my first floor i saw one mango yet safe and sound, the lone survivor. But till its eaten and seed thrown work of mother nature will not be completed. Is this the theory to be applied. any answers?
